Karlee Morse FX Make-up Artist

Karlee Morse is an Emmy award-winning  ("Outstanding Special Effects Costume, Make-up and Hairstyling", "Dino Dana", 2020) and Canadian Screen Award-losing ("Achievement in Make-up", "The Retreat", 2022) make-up artist specializing in prosthetic design and application - she has a keen interest in pushing the limits of practical effects to achieve fantastic but feasible looks. Her work has been featured in television, film, commercials, music videos and theatre. Past clients include Disney, Blizzard Entertainment, Ubisoft, and Telus.

A graduate of both Brock University and Sheridan College, with a background in conceptual art and painting, her work is influenced by a painterly, life-like style. Her favourite type of looks to design are fantasy-esque creature make-ups, colourful and captivating. Body painting is her jam - she's an award-winning body painter, too.

She currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada. She's a part-time instructor at Sheridan College in the Make-up for Media and Creative Arts program. In her free time she does a lot of yoga, writes, paints, and raises the cutest dog in the world.
